Liposuction is surgery aiming to remove excess body fat by suction using dedicated equipment and technics. A plastic surgeon typically does the surgery. Liposuction, also known as body contouring, is a popular cosmetic surgery that eliminates excess body fat to enhance physical appearance and smooth out uneven body contours. This procedure is effective for shaping areas such as the chin, neck, cheeks, upper arms, breasts, abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, knees, calves, and ankles.

Knee Replacement Surgery

Knee replacement surgery (knee arthroplasty) involves removing a patient's damaged joint surface and replacing it with a metal and plastic implant. This surgery is performed on patients with severe knee arthritis (most commonly, osteoarthritis) to decrease pain and improve mobility, and it tends to have a high success rate. While knee replacement surgery is considered a safe and effective operation, it's important to gain knowledge about the potential risks involved, as well as the recovery process, which may take up to a year in some patients.

Hip Replacement Surgery

Hip replacement surgery (hip arthroplasty) involves removing a damaged or diseased hip joint and replacing it with an artificial implant. This may be made from plastic, metal, and ceramic parts. This surgery is most often done to decrease pain and improve mobility in individuals with hip osteoarthritis symptoms that have not resolved with conservative treatment. The most common type of this surgery is a total hip replacement, in which both acetabulum (hip socket) and the head of the femur (the "ball" of the hip joint) are replaced.

A hysterectomy is the surgical removal of a woman’s uterus, commonly known as her womb. In some cases, other reproductive organs (e.g., ovaries, cervix) may also be removed during this procedure. While generally considered very safe, there are risks involved. The pros of its use in treating uterine cancer, endometriosis, fibroids, and other issues must be carefully weighed against the cons in every woman's specific case.

Heart Bypass Surgery

Heart bypass surgery, or coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery, is done when the blood vessels that feed the heart are too clogged to function properly. The surgery uses blood vessels from another part of the body to re-route blood flow around the blocked arteries. The number of vessels that need to be bypassed dictate the type of bypass surgery performed: single (one artery), double (two), triple (three), or quadruple (four).
